Four qualities of an orderly meeting: One person presides at a meeting, one idea is discussed at a time, everyone gets a chance to voice an opinion, the majority rules.

One duty of each office:

• President presides
• Vice President takes over when president is unavailable
• Secretary takes minutes
• Treasurer keeps track of money
• Historian keeps history records
• Reporter handles current news and publicity
• Parliamentarian keeps order in the meetings.
