I-94 lane closures between St. Cloud, Clearwater

Will effect travel for Leadership & Delegate Conference’s

Now – Dec. 2012

Both directions of I-94 will may be reduced to a single lane during daytime hours Mondays through Saturdays. No lane closures are currently planned on Sundays.

Please plan accordingly and allow extra time in your travels for your trip to St. Cloud next week. Those of you being provided transportation from a bus company, please share this with your drivers. An alternate route for those on the northern side of the suburbs is to take Hwy. 10.

WB I-94:

Major delays are likely on Thursday afternoon through Saturday afternoon when lane closures occur.

EB I-94:

Moderate-to-major backups are likely in late afternoon/early evening when lane closures occur.

Some delays are likely on both directions of I-94 during commuter rush hours.

Hwy 24 Detour – Hasty to Clearwater

When traffic backs up on WB I-94, a detour will direct motorists to use Exit 183 (Silver Creek/Hasty exit), to CR 75, to Hwy 24 in Clearwater. In effect – an extended exit ramp.

April – July 2013

Both directions of I-94 will reduce to a single lane 24-hours per day. All lanes are scheduled to reopen by late July 2013.
