The SkillsUSA Chapter at Dakota Ridge High School in Apple Valley, MN is of a group of students who volunteer their hours in the community.   The Work Based Learning Program's focus is to provide a foundation for successful transition from high school to the adult world of work.

The goal to assist students in exploring interests in their future goals in the area of employment and careers. As students explore, they develop the skills necessary for future employment. Each student participates in a variety of locations such as Ramsey County Service Center, Second Harvest, and Meals on Wheels.  Together, students in SkillsUSA to date have logged over 304 hours of service learning.
